Details about BB T-slot cutter
-Usually for milling T-slots in the tables and beds of machine tools and similar applications.
-The tools have staggered teeth when Dia. of cut ＞ 14mm.
-A rugged design with free cutting features ,with alternate side cutting teeth for maximum chip clearance.
-High speed steel material, provide rapid chip removal. Used for milling low-carbon steel, aluminum, copper, iron and non ferrous materials, works well on aluminum.
Some attention about BB T-slot cutter
-Make sure the shank of the cutter is clamped on the collet properly. A vertical slot must be cut first, so that the neck and shank can enter the cut.
-High speed steel milling cutter is suitable for low speed and low feed processing.
-If the processed material is hard, please reduce the cutting depth and feed.
-If cutter burning, please also reduce the processing speed.Overheating of the tool will reduce the hardness of the tool, resulting in blade collapse.
